That is one of the many reasons I left blogspot. Losing posts was a regular occurance.
Oof. That sucks.
I always ctrl-c before I post so i can just paste if it gets lost, myspace does that sometimes too. And if you're really worried, you can have word open and paste it to it, just in case as well. Can you tell it's happened to me too many times before?
