This was actually taken when it started. We are currently in white-out blizzard conditions. Of course our church ward is hard-core, they STILL held the easter egg hunt at the park!
I had to say "no" to that one.
Excuse me while I go be depressed.
The rants of a Mommy, Wife, Housekeeper, Laundry Guru (yes, I can get ANY stain out!), Head Nurse, Fridge Stocker, Boo-boo Kisser, Scout Mom, Embarrassing Cheerleader (at my kids' games), Glorified Chauffeur, Expert Microwaver, and yes, along with all that, WRITER!

WOW!
That is gorgeous!
I remember many Easters as a kid, when Easter was in APRIL, like it is supposed to be. We still had snow. Where you live must be similar to the pariries of Canada!
I can imagine how you feel, I guess. We always want what we don't have. I ADORE Snow and want as much as possible. But when I lived where we had feet of it six months of the year, I was anxious for it to be gone, too. So I can relate.
To look at this picture NOW though, being gone from snow for so long...I wish I lived where you do!
Laura,
Well, THERE'S a fresh perspective! Thanks for helping me see it differently.
I think it's pretty too. I just hope it all melts in the next day or two!
;-)
I can't believe they held the easter egg hunt anyway. That's insane!
