...to get a flu shot. I'll post later! I LOVE flu shots. They're right up there with...say...rectal exams...definitely in the top five.
BLECH.

And they sting, too.
They only give them to the over 65's here....is that the same in the States? ;-)
Well, I am on the "list" for flu shots because I have a child under five years old.
Anyone can get them, but they do have a list of high-risk people who SHOULD get them.
I have never gotten one and I seldom, if ever, get sick. Think I have had "the flu" about twice in my life. All my friends who get the shots get sick and stay sick. Yet they continue to do so for some reason??
I assume they actually help you and you don't end up with the flu or worse? Honestly, anyone I talk to about it is sick often. It doesn't make sense to me.
Please enlighten me if you can!
Can't have them. I'll survive the flu, but the flu shot could kill me. So I don't take them. HEALTH magazine had a great article this month on how more and more people shouldn't have the shot, because it's a guess at what strain MIGHT come around, and it loads your body with toxins that might have nothing to do with the actual flu.
No thanks.
I live in NY. Toxic enough.
Understand completely--getting any kind of shot isn't high on my list of "Fun Things to Do".
I've never had a flu shot...not sure if I want to get one either...
Good luck!
