Another One Bites the Dust...

We were at the dr. yesterday afternoon. Guess who has Swine Flu now?

Thing Three. Only he had a chest cold first...so I'm nervous. Last night he woke up with night terrors (he only does this when he has a fever) screaming that he was floating, and he was going to die.

Not a fun time for me. And Hubby leaves for NYC on Sunday. I just wish all the kids would get it at once, instead of this "dragging it out/one-kid-at-a-time crap.

Keep us in your thoughts!

I'm so sorry to hear it, Lara. We had two down in our house last week. Hang in there!

I can't remember...did you guys get the vaccine? I personally am against this whole H1N1 thing...they don't know enough about it. And honestly...have you considered not sanitizing everything?? I know you don't agree with me, but I am telling you! We DO NOT get sick. We just don't. We wash our hands after using the bathroom, and in the kitchen I am meticulous about scrubbing surfaces down, especially when dealing with meat. Things of that nature. But we never use that hand sanitizer and those wipes and things that you use and I am just worried. It seems like you guys are always sick, swine flu or no swine flu. I don't think you/your kids have built up your immune system enough. Just something to consider. Tell me to shut up, if you want:) I just honestly feel there is a correlation between all the precautions you take and it not working, ya know? Some people think that my kids don't get sick because they are home schooled. That is what some people have said to me. The thing is, they are hardly ever home and we are out there exposed to everything, all the time. They have classes, sports, parties, play dates and get togethers and LOTS of their friends have swine flu right now (mainly the public schooled friends, interestingly), and mine are healthy as anything. I just find it interesting.

Hope you all get well ASAP! Praying for you!
