So, yesterday was an EDITING day. I stayed offline (mostly) so I'd actually get something done. An old writing buddy of mine used to write in her CLOSET, so she' wouldn't be tempted to surf the net. ;-)
Granted, I'm not THAT addicted, but I like to *ahem* check my email regularly.
I'm about 100 pages away from being finished, and then I get to give it a break and take one more pass. And then I'll be ready.
Blah blah blah blah blah, I know, but hey, it's a big part of my life!
We were supposed to get snow last night, but Fate smiled on us and we got rain instead. I'm okay with rain. But now there's ice on everything this morning. Niiice.
So, I saw this ridiculous commerical last night for a hair thingy called a "Bump it." I laughed and laughed. Then I chuckled. Then I got thoughtful. Then I realized, I NEED a Bump it. I mean, I "tease" my hair in the back to make it stand up (but not CRAZY like some women do) and the "Bump it" is a little comb-like thing you put back there, and comb your hair over and it gives you lift without teasing and ratting. Hmmm. Am I crazy that I think I want to try it? You can CLICK HERE AND SEE FOR YOURSELF. Be warned, there's some massive "bump" action going on in some of the hairdos, and I am NOT like that. I just like a "little lift."
Yeah, you'll get a good laugh. But when you have fine hair like me (and I don't mean awesome, I mean BABY FINE) I need all the help I can get.
Okay, time to round up the baby and head out! I hope everyone has a happy weekend!

Showoff. ;) Actually, I'm really excited you're working on your book. That means I get to read it again! YAY!
Okay...that Bumpit video was hilarious. I guess it depends on what part of the country (or world?) you're living in to know if that hairstyle is the right look. Around here...not so much. The only women who have that look are modern muslim women wearing the headscarf, but I personally think it looks a bit too much like they're trying to cover up an Alien head.
Actually, that's not a bad thing, I hate ratting my hair, but I'm so used to it anyway. It does remind me of something one of my roommates in Utah said about girls from Sandy, "the bigger the hair, the closer to God". Seriously though, I think that's where it was developed, those girls had HUGE bumps!
Go you on the book! Woot.
Hair....them were the days ;-)
