Short Post Today

My upper back is killing me again. From between my shoulder blades all the way down my arm on the left side and I can't turn my neck, or even breathe deeply without severe pain. So I can't sit at this #$^&**@#! computer much today, that is for sure! And it's a nerve, so painkillers won't help. Ah, lovely lovely.

I've decided which novel I want to stick with. I am going to work on it every day (I've forewarned Hubby he'll have to watch his TV shows alone at night while I write) and then I'm going to start a list of potential editors. I've been "on hiatus" with my submissions and I've been very laid back about writing, as of late. No longer. I was given some very helpful info from a friend, and I'm looking into that as well. I can't get in my own way any more. Nope nope nope.

And here's another pic of the Sir Connery and Janet Munro for your enjoyment. My daughter saw the pic yesterday on my blog and she's rushing to put the DVD in right now...

Thanks--at this point I think I'd inject pee in my eye if it helped...

Oh man, sorry to hear about you back! I'm so happy to hear you're getting back to writing. Good on ya girl. I only got about 1 page done yesterday. Blah!

I hate it when my back/neck does that junk. Drives me NUTS! Can't move or breathe, you are right. Hope you feel better soon. Pee in your eye! LOL That is funny!

Good for you writing every day. I can't wait to read the finished product! Your family will survive!

Our Darby movie should arrive tomorrow from Netflix! I can't wait:)

A word of caution about Darby, though--it's a bit scary at the end. Can I just say the Banshee nearly made me wet myself when I was a kid?

Have fun!

Thanks for the heads up, Lara. I have always wanted to see a Banshee. I will watch the entire thing before the kids see it, just so I know the spot.

I recently used the term "Scream like a Banshee" with my kids. They asked what it was and I said something along the lines of, "I dunno. But I think it is scary!"
